The pattern and Texture of the ripples of the water to the flower bushes that surround the water
The depth shows everything from the closest flower bush to the glass building
The framing has all the flower bushes then the monorail that mysteriously cuts off
Lighting was a huge factor using daytime sun
The mood is somewhat happy and calming
The colors pop out (the red flower bush pops out sharply with the blue water

***The photo I will be talking about is photo 4***
The time of day chosen for this photo was nighttime to have the bright lights more prominent. The light I had photographed was taken from a water speaker with the glass reflecting the light more giving it a "trippy" look to it. In the photo, it uses the rule of thirds having the more dominant bright lights pop out not in the middle but to a point where your eyes follow the light pattern. There was no specific shadows since it was already very dark in my room but in a way, the light creates a light that has an effect of a shadow. The mood of the photo is bright yet there's a lot going on with the light and colors which personally attracts me more than the others

Capturing Color
Made the blue and green more vibrant and
saturated than it was before, made the netting more focused. |
Toned down the blue sky to a more yellow color and made the reds and yellow. I made the whole photo vibrant and saturated as well.

Made the colors pop out more and saturated it, focused it more. Added a bit of yellow filter to make it bright.

Class taken Mirror Photos
The two photographers I took the most inspiration from were; Guillaume Amat and Sebastian Magnani. I used their styles to incorporate a sense of style into my photos. The location of most of the photos in this series are from the school courtyard, and one is taken from inside. For some photos, I took a straight down photo to make some look almost perfect looking. Other photos have an angle to have a different view from the others. In one of my photos, I created a rainbow effect in the square mirror adding a obscure view to the photo. The background in some photos have a dark look to them, while the mirror shows the bright cloudy sky. I would describe most of photos as a between surreal and reality, showing a different view to things we may see everyday. I feel in a good few of my photos I was able to use illusions to portray nature.

Cyanotype Photos
When in the making of the cyanotype photo, it had first started with printing out a sheet of sensitive emulsion sheet. We then paint on a watercolor paper with a substance that brings it out. The sheet and paper were put together in the sun and we waited for about 10 minutes to finish. When finished, you take the photo and put it into a bin and wash out the watercolor paper till the green color became a dark blue. After that, we waited for them to dry until it was officially complete.
